Our classrooms, facilities and teachers are available to schools, institutions, universities and individual teachers.

Centro Italiano makes its premises and teachers available for educational and training projects regarding the Italian language, conceived and presented by Italian and foreign institutions. We have a team of teachers specialized in teaching Italian as a foreign language, teachers of art history, literature, architecture, and all the disciplines that can be part of a study stay concerning Italian language and/or culture.

As an institute for teaching Italian language and culture we have worked with various educational bodies, amongst which are the Center for Academic Programs Abroad, Stanford University, the University for Foreigners in Siena, the Kaiserhof Hotal Institute of Merano, St Andrew’s College Dublin, and several others.

Centro Italiano is also an examination center for the CILS certification of knowledge of the Italian language, recognized by the University of Siena, and it can make its structure available for exam preparation programs, including personalized sessions.

We have classrooms equipped for any kind of presentation or conference, and also an internal garden and kitchen, on the ground floor of a prestigious building in one of the most beautiful nineteenth-century squares in Florence. One classroom is equipped to function as a portrait studio for photo shoots, and we can additionally provide a darkroom.

In addition to our Italian language services, the Center has a team of experienced teachers of Photography, Graphics and Video production, as well as highly experienced craftsmen, who, with their workshop-laboratories, are available to schools or associations, both Italian and foreign, who would like to offer a stay in Florence based on these disciplines.
