CILS Exam Preparation Course

Thanks to our individual course of CILS Preparation, our school, Centro Italiano Firenze, and our professional team will help you to prepare and pass this important exam in the best way possible, which will consequently give you a qualification that certifies your level of knowledge of the language.

Our Center is recognized by the University for Foreigners of Siena, as an examination center for CILS certification, and as a result we understand very well which skills and abilities are necessary to pass this important examination.

What is CILS certification and what is it for?

The CILS certification is the first Italian certification to have adopted the system of six levels of linguistic-communicative competence proposed by the Common European Framework of Reference of the Council of Europe, and to have created specific modules for workers of foreign origin in Italy. This certification is therefore an officially recognized qualification that certifies the degree of linguistic-communicative competence in Italian (L2).

Where does the exam take place?

Exactly where you studied for it with us! At the Italian Center in Piazza D’Azeglio 20, 50121, in Florence. In the months of June and December, we host the exam sessions, with our own teachers as examiners. For registration you pay the prices published by the University of Siena.

Weekly Program

Monday – Italian lessons.

Listening test 1 and immediate correction; Reading Comprehension test 1 and immediate correction.

Break.

Language Functions test and immediate correction; Grammar-verbs functions test and immediate correction; Written test 1 – Composition, and correction the following day; Oral test 1 – Dialogue.

Tuesday –Italian lessons.

Listening test 2 and immediate correction; Reading Comprehension test 2 and immediate correction.

Break.

Grammar-adjectives functions test, prepositions, articles, and immediate correction; Written test 2 – Composition, and correction the following day; Correction of preceding day’s Written test; Oral test 2 – Monologue.

Wednesday – Italian lessons.

Listening test 1 and immediate correction; Reading Comprehension test 1 and immediate correction.

Break.

Language functions test and immediate correction; Grammar-verbs functions test and immediate correction; Written test 1 – Composition, and correction the following day; Oral test 1 – Dialogue.

Thursday– Italian lessons.

Listening test 2 and immediate correction; Reading Comprehension test 2 and immediate correction.

Break.

Friday– Italian lessons with mock-test of the CILS exam.
