Choice of design, reproducing this on wooden board, burning onto wood using Pyrography, “chiaroscuro” (light and dark) effects to create depth
Preparation of the wood, using Bologna chalk and rabbit-skin glue Explanation with practical demonstration for the reproduction of different effects such as marble, wood andfabric through using acrylic or oil paints Monochrome technique for reproducing the bas-relief Techniques such as “shabby”, “craquele”, “poor art”, “Venetian style” Finishing techniques

Covering various techniques, using watercolor in tablet form, and from tubes, on both wet and dry papers, watercolor pencils and ink interventions
Historical background and introduction to the technique of depth: Drawing and painting exercises to render an effective perspective, and the 3D look of a distant subject
This course deals with engraving on flat plate, for the creation of decorative designs, print matrix, and everyday objects (frames, boxes etc) The exercises will be done on brass and silver plate. The engraving course is open to everyone.
The intensive Stone Setting course is recommended not only for young students, but also for goldsmiths who need to learn this art to facilitate their day-to-day work.
These courses are conducted by teachers of the school, are open to all, and offer the opportunity to learn technical skills, of a professional nature, in a short period of time. They are particularly suited to people already working or studying, who may not have time to commit to a long course.
