This professional academic course of Advertising Graphics aims to impart all the theoretical, design and technical skills to successfully fulfill this important role. Major graphics software such as Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator – but also emerging software such as Affinity Design – will no longer be a mystery to you.
The course is divided into three autonomous two-month periods of increasing difficulty, which intertwine theory, design and practice in an alternating way, to maintain the level of your attention, and to ensure a good hybridization of the knowledge acquired.
The course last 6 months, with a total of 240 hours, spread over 2 lessons per week, for a total of 40 hours of lessons per month.
Program
First part
The first part is dedicated to the theoretical basis of advertising graphics, to learning Photoshop and managing raster graphics. Through lectures and transdisciplinary exercises, you’ll learn the analytical bases of visual communication, and you’ll take the first steps towards the development of original ideas. From a technical point of view, we’ll work on photo editing, digital illustration, paper and web graphics.

Second part
The second part is dedicated to Adobe Illustrator and vector graphics. You’ll learn the necessary techniques to develop creative thinking, following some advertising graphics projects in all their phases, from conception to realization. You’ll work on logos, page-layouts, and web graphics, but also on the content of real campaigns.

Third Part
The third part is dedicated to Indesign, editorial layout, and the development of complex graphic designs. Students will collaborate with each other, with the teacher, and with other professionals in the creation of real projects in the field of graphics, in order to address the main problems related to the working environment. The class will become a small graphics studio, which will combine the development of real projects, with the creation of a portfolio, and a personal project for each student.
