  Italian and wine harvesting


At the time of the wine-harvest, Tuscany is at its most picturesque, with people working among the vines, colours turning towards autumn and the scent of fermenting grapes. A wonderful moment for a farm-stay in the hills of the Chianti, with the aim of learning Italian. Terre di Baccio and Buondonno are farms,  but also places dedicated to making its guests feel truly welcome. They are situated near Greve and Castellina in Chianti. Beautiful original furniture, carefully chosen ingredients and skillful preparation of breakfast and meals, which are accompanied by a selection of quality wines and olive oil.

  • Sunday Arrival and  settle into the Fattoria , meet your teacher and dine at the farm. (Transfer from Florence’s airport or train station by request )
  • from Monday to Friday
    • mornings 9.30 - 12.30  three-hour Italian INDIVIDUAL lesson and light lunch
    • afternoons 3.30  - 5.30 pm grape-harvesting with a wine-expert who will provide information on viticulture, wine-production and the properties of Tuscan wines. The grape-harvest takes place in the vineyards of the above  Fattoria or in another nearby property.
    • evenings dinner,  a different menu every evening.
  • Saturday Departure (transfer to Florence airport or station on request)

Not included : transfer from Florence station or airport to the Farm € 80 for 1 way
