The chalcography course will take place in the artisan laboratory, equipped with ancient original tools, led by master Filippo Becattini and will introduce you to the engraving printing system on copper and zinc plates.<\/p>\n

  • Introduction: history and technical description<\/li>\n
  • Choice of drawing<\/li>\n
  • Tracing on tissue paper and transfer onto waxed plate using the ceramolle technique (also known as soft-ground etching)<\/li>\n
  • Chiaroscuro effects for depth using the acquaforte (etching) technique<\/li>\n
  • Printing of 5 copies of the student\u2019s work on damp pape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The course includes material used, 5 copies of own work and Italian taxes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
