Idea

Spend a week immersed in Tuscan culinary culture and learn about the most important aspects of growing and producing wine. The sessions take the form of guided tours, excursions, cookery classes and tastings over 5 afternoons and evenings.

Duration: 1 week

Program:  4 afternoon sessions of 2-5 hours each plus dinner

  • Monday:  Florence, the city of wine and the art of cooking (tour of the centre of Florence) – welcome drink.
  • Tuesday:  Tuscan red wines (guided wine-tasting).
  • Wednesday: Tuscan cookery course with dinners (starters, first course, second course, dessert)
  • Thursday:   visit to a farm near Florence , wine-tasting with light meal.
  • Friday:  valedictory evening meal at a Florentine trattoria with full menu and wine.

Language: Italian or English

Minimum age:  18 years

Levels:  1

Private program with prices per person, depending on the number of partecipants. The starting dates can be choosen by the partecipant(s) at any time of the year.

Included in the fee 1 tour of Florence by theme with aperitif, 1 wine-tasting, 1 cookery class, 1 excursion to a farm with tasting, 1 dinner in a typical trattoria

This seminar can be combined to an Italian course in the morning.
