If you are a foreigner intending to study Italian language and  culture in Florence, you are about to plunge into a city with a huge cultural and artistic heritage from the past, yet one that is modern and vibrant and always on the move.

Florence was the cradle of the Italian Renaissance, during the period when the greatest artists lived and worked in the town, leaving behind them the marks of their passage. We can therefore enjoy such monuments as the Duomo, the church of Santa Croce, the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, the Pitti Palace and museums such as the Uffizi and the Galleria dell’Accademia.
Our aim is to introduce you not only to these places but also to show you the Florence of today, with its surviving artisans’ workshops, its food market, its libraries, theaters, modern art and fashion, parks, gardens and everyday places where you can meet its inhabitants and get a real picture of what it’s like to live in this town.
